#16: i did it again, didn't i?

Oh god, here we go again. I keep forgetting to update my blog - sorry for the many breaks in between. I genuinely enjoy making these, but I have had a lot going on.

First of all, I started my school internship with the beginning of the second semester. I'm very content with the courses I got into, those being Film, Metal Work, Object Design, Paper Crafts, Ceramics, Mixed Media Ceramics, Graphic Design and Woodwork (Carving, not Construction!). I have Woodworking two blocks a week, the rest once a week (one block = 4 hours, we mostly have two blocks a day). So far, I've only had two weeks of the school internship, meaning a lot of introduction rounds and intros to certain materials and techniques. Towards the end of the first two weeks, we finally started on some of our first projects, which was exhausting but really fun and interesting.

The photo exhibit I told you guys about had its first opening around three weeks ago and is closing next Thursday. That was only the first of two exhibitions though, the finished collection won't be exhibited for another couple weeks. I really enjoyed the feeling of having my stuff out in the open for people to see. I think I'll try to do things like this more often.

spotting my pictures on the walls was fun!

Then, last weekend, I went to my mums concert and a demonstration for international women's day!

ended up hanging this sign on my wall :3

This Thursday, I took part in a joint interview with a few schoolmates for an article by "ZEIT", a famous German newspaper, the subject being the Epstein Files (+ sexualisation, sexism, feminism, and a lot of other interesting topics). It was an incredible experience I'd never had before and I'm very excited to read the article when it comes out (possibly already next week!). I might go back and edit the link into this release when it comes out!

And tomorrow, on Sunday, I have another exciting event: I'll play synth and bass for a befriended band (Cosmica Bandida) for a live session that will be put on Youtube. I've never played live with a band before, not even without an audience. Obviously, I'm nervous about it, but the lines are fairly easy and I've known these people for a long time, plus my mum will also be playing bass for one of the songs X)

Recently, I've been into NTS Radio (esp. Clairo's old sessions :3), I've started journaling again, I keep forgetting to water my plants (yes, plural, I propagated one of my mums!), I'm trying to wear my backpack more for the sake of my crooked back, I've gotten used to the weird spring-ish weather and I dressed up a few times for my school's theme week.

I hope you enjoyed this blog and next time, I swear I'll try to remember TT

As always, thank you for your time + see you soon!

x juno
